SNAP 2018 was conducted on December 16, 2018 in an online mode in 92 cities all over India. The exam was held for two hours (from 2 pm to 4 pm) and the questions asked in SNAP test were objective in nature. The exam paper carried 130 questions divided into4 sections. There is no sectional cut-off in SNAP exam. According to experts the SNAP question paper was easier than last two years. The candidates had no difficulty in solving the SNAP test paper provided they covered all the important topics during exam preparation.
The SNAP exam syllabus and pattern 2019 has changed substantially. Now the SNAP exam 2019 will consist of total 115 questions i.e. 110 MCQs and only 5 Non-MCQs with 25% negative marking rather than of earlier 130 total questions. Each MCQ Question will give four options choices to the candidate from among which one will be the correct option. Special questions will only be in Quant & DI section. The SNAP test is divided into 4 sections, and exam syllabus ensures no repetition of SNAP questions. The exam will strictly be based on SNAP syllabus and will not go beyond it. Along with the changes that have been introduced in the composition of the question type (i.e. MCQ and Non- MCQ questions), a few changes have also been introduced in the Marking scheme of the SNAP exam as well. SNAP 2019 will see differential marking scheme for various sections and composition of questions. The MCQ questions will carry 1.5 marks for the General English and Analytical and Reasoning section. For the QA & DI section and the Current affairs section, MCQ questions will carry +1 marks. For the non- MCQ questions which are there in the QA & DI section, a candidate will get +2, if answered correctly. Each wrong answer will attract negative marks of 25% for both MCQ / Non- MCQ Questions. Candidates are advised to prepare for the non-MCQ questions with complete dedication as these questions hold more weightage in the exam. These questions also hold potential to help the candidates score good percentile in the exam, if answered correctly.
